There's such a thing as too little!
I think I'm now UNDER carbing.
Sheesh!
When you eat no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, beans, peanuts, or corn and virtually no sugar, cutting calories means your carbs hit rock bottom!
Srsly. This whole thing is just too easy. I have no cravings and I'm not hungry. Cutting calories has been a cinch but my carbs have dropped below 20g per day several times this past week. That's TOO low. I'm not feeling bad or seeing any side effects, but it's bound to happen.
So I've resolved to up my veggie consumption to compensate. I just boiled down some collards fresh out of my garden yesterday. Those should help a LOT!
Mmmmmm, collards.

The Atkin's Diet starts of with two weeks of keeping carbs below 20g. I just found this interesting since you mentioned that, on the Paleo diet, you were approaching days when your carbs fell below that too.
Well, technically, your carbs are supposed to be AT 20g. Although I can't see what's dangerous about going lower, considering the traditional Inuit and all. (You can make glucose from protein via a process called gluconeogenesis, so the idea that you need carbs for, well, anything, is kind of a myth. At most you might need some of the other things in fruits and veg from time to time. But not carbs.)
